Installing on a clean linux install

Hello everyone,

I just started looking into Mamute today and I'm trying to install it for the first time. Here is what I have done so far:

  • launched a clean debian VM
  • installed JRE 8
  • downloaded and unpacked the .war to /var/mamute
  • set /var/mamute/run.sh executable
  • modified /var/mamute/WEB-INF/classes/production/hibernate.cfg.xml to point to the mysql server and db with a username and password
  • modified the /var/mamute/WEB-INF/classes/mamute.properties by changing the host to my url (with :80)
  • set the environment variable PORT to 80
  • launched the script with: sudo VRAPTOR_ENV=production /var/mamute/run.sh

I'm kind of blindly making these changes and seeing if they work. Does anyone have an installation guide for mamute? Am I missing something obvious that I need to be doing?

  • Is this the full log? It seems that the server is up and running, what happens when you access the server?
